This may sound stupid

Post by fatman »

I have a question for the snow belt dudes. Now i havent seen much snow in my life a few week ends of cross country a few of downhill has been my experiance in proper snow and what ever light dusting gets to our place in the bush. Now when it falls does it ever sound like rain or is it all pretty much silent?

you are right, of course.....it does sound stupid. And, no, there is no sound from the snow itself, but if it gets sleet mixed in, you can hear that(landing especially). Heavy snows usually have some phase where it is windy, so there's your noise factor, if you desire that sort of thing. Snow is peaceful, especially if you don't have to drive to work or some such.......
