the new il2

when the new il2 battle of britain game came out, everyone said it was broken. Is it fixed yet? I was thinking how fun it used to be playing the old sturmovik with everyone and being on ventrilo.

Or is there some other sim now that the people in the know are playing? I have Rise of flight, but I'm no good at it, and it's not as fun as il2 was.

Even with high end computers the frames are quite low. It's better than upon release but a couple in my squadron have it and no longer play it cuz of this.

Last patch was five months ago...next patch is?

I bought it on release and have played it offline for maybe a week. Even with the latest patches it still doesn't engage me.

2 other options are Il2-1946 with the latest patches, and Rise of Flight ( Free game but you need to pay for extra planes ). RoF is a lot of fun both online and offline even if you just use the free planes.
