Gun control
Re: Gun control
Well on the video you can't see how 9 persons can be shot at the same time.
Agree that they had no choice shooting at him, but how the hell did they manage to shoot so many other persons?
Besides you'll notice the guy was walking away calmly. It's pretty stupid to chase him like that knowing he has a gun. Why not just follow him and catch him home?

Well, if you can imagine a brick/concrete wall behind the suspect and bullets andnicolas10 wrote:Well on the video you can't see how 9 persons can be shot at the same time.

bullet fragments bouncing off it....it's not unlikely or unheard of....
You don't let any armed suspect walk calmly through a crowd...especially one that just murdered somebody....Hostages? More Deaths? The suspect wasn't exactly dressed like the "boogie man" and blended in with the crowd. Not a doubt in my mind, that when the officers realized, who he was and their proximity to him/suspect, they both had a millisecond to think.....oh,shit. Then the shit hit the fan, a millisecond later.
It never ceases to amaze me? Why some folks, who have all the time in the world in
hindsight....and no experience.... Always or so it seems, know how to do things better. Not taking a "shot" at you, Nic
the consequences of your decisions or actions.
No slight to the delicate sensibilities of the casual observers here...
Re: Gun control
Apparently a number of cops outside of that ccd view decided to fire...in one report a man stated his wife was "peppered" with bullets when he saw her in the hospital. I imagine she was probably hit with bullet fragments from a ricochet, and others may have been wounded from like shrapnel, but it does seem like excessive use of lethal force in a crowded area. I could be wrong, perhaps more details will be revealed (perhaps conveniently not...).

Yes, they do Fats.
Not sure I get your point?
Cops are taught to shoot, until the suspect goes down.
The video seems to show this...
Barfly has a point.
There could have been additional officers outside the camera view, who fired as well?
Another, thing that most folks are unaware of and don't factor in what occurred?
Everybody, involved in a situation like that, has tunnel vision, meaning you are
totally focused only on the danger/suspect. Meaning you don't see anything else and I don't believe the first two officers did either. Their really is no way to "train" that
out of folks. It's a human condition. If my memory serves, my spelling don't, the word is "Tachy Physce" or something like that..
