When Communism comes to this country it will be wrapped in Progressive ideas, globalist ambition, a 'green' economy, and carrying Saul Alynski's "Rules for Radicals"....nicolas10 wrote:
Marcus Cicero:
“A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murderer is less to fear.”
Maybe she's a fool or too ambitious, but we all know who the traitor to our traditions is...
Bob Woodward wrote a book about the Obama administration - an interesting quote from Obama from a speech in April 2011 regarding his plans for the budget and his vision for a new America:
"This vision is less about reducing the deficit than it is about changing the basic social compact in America,"

This is oversimplistic, and it's not applicable to the current situation.CUDA wrote:Alexander Fraser Tytler, Lord Woodhouselee (15 October 1747 - 5 January 1813) wrote:"A democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of government. Today's politicians are not incompetent or greedy, they are treacherous. It's completely different.
