Demanding that all citizens are on the same voting timeline eliminates the early military vote, see? Accusing the GOP of doing same is an attempt to divert attention from real efforts to manipulate the vote.

do you get it, Barfly? (obviously not, see comment re:grey matter) The GOP, several months ago, attempted to SELECTIVELY limit early voting, but wrote in a section about remaining open for vets(residents, not absentee voters). Thus, it was the GOP who wanted to curtail access to the polls. The Obama suit merely seeks to clarify that if the ban applies to any citizen it applies to ALL citizens. As citizens, military personnel are NO DIFFERENT than any other voter. No one should get a special break.

So the tradition of allowing overseas military personel to vote absentee ballot early, and postage free, to ensure they can vote and get it in early enough to be counted should be eliminated? Algore tried to do that in Florida.
