just 5 more electoral votes
well, voting in many states has started, and let's celebrate with the link to RealClear Politics electoral vote map:

enjoy,Texans and other Obama-fans!!! 5 more electoral votes and Obama will have the 270, if this holds, and in 4 elections I have followed them,
RealClear doesn't get much wrong.

Re: just 5 more electoral votes
In all honesty I don't see where Obama is getting his support from. I have 10-15 friends that voted for him in the last election and easily 90% of them say they wont be voting for him this time. I'm seriously questioning those polls.
what I do know is that MOST of the polls are skewed in their samplings. most of them have polled disproportionately to the Democratic side which tends to weight more towards Obama, while only 1 poll has been weighted close to even and it has the race at a dead heat. I guess it's much like the media. Most of them are campaigning for Obama, and only 1 is not
we'll see in November.

Re: just 5 more electoral votes
actually, they don't oversample Dems....in fact the only major poll that messes up the sampling is Rasmussen, which doesn't reach to cell phones, missing many young people and minorities. The right wing blogs have been whistling in the dark about the polling errors, but I listened to two major pollsters put the lie to that last night. While you have anecdotal data, I could provide plenty, notably from Virginia, in which libertarians and moderate GOP registered voters are telling me they will hold their noses and vote Obama because they simply feel Romney is out of touch. What happened here is that his campaign dithered away the summer and allowed the race to become a referendum on Romney instead of the other way around, and people just don't like him much.CUDA wrote:In all honesty I don't see where Obama is getting his support from. Buzz, is it upsetting to you?
That you weren't counted among the 15?
It does make a fella wonder?
What you been weighing in with?
