What's the point of this article?

Know your opponent, so you know if you must carry a good quality weapon, keep it lubricated and loaded with good ammo?

Obama publicly stated he wanted to reinstate the assault weapons ban. I had a link from the NRA page but you'd have said it was biased. So here's one from Chicago.
