the futility lies in the fact that I am trying to point out that your 'arguments' are largely imaginary, your fears unjustified and your approach unworkable.
I'm sorry, Nic, if this frustrates you, but I am truly worried about what seems to be a turn toward some sort of ultra-nationalist ideology on your part, as that sort of thing has led to so much evil in our recent history('our' referring to the world, not specifically you and I).

It's actually impossible to discuss some ideas since for me some things are debatable while they are, for you, the basis of your own dogma.

Sort of like having an argument about the existence of God with a christian and starting with: "given God doesn't exist and all christians are deluded, we can assume that..."
