It still boils down to this:
The proximate cause is the "mental case" involved.
The only viable solution is to "find" a way to effectively I.D.
the mental cases in our society, change our laws to deal with
these problem people and then medically treat them.

The lone nutjob is too easy an excuse. IMHO it goes much much beyond that.

Well Nic...that did get me to thinking..what parts of that link, that I could digest.

It sorta made me think back to the past...and realize...that mental cases (in my experiences) have never clumped up in a group(s). The only scenario for that would perhaps be over at the "looney bin". Further, from my old memory...I can't recall any incidents where more than one "loon" did anything. Now, I do acknowledge, that "loons" can influence "gullible" folks to do criminal acts. Proof of that exist in many examples over the last four years.

So, nope, I don't see a whole lot of "meaningful" truth/accuracy in your link.
However, if you were to exclude some of the things mentioned in the link and then were to apply the rest to the last four years? You definitely might have something there... 8-)

Problem is, the official versions are even more goofy... it's very hard to believe them. I tried to, I really tried.

Goofy people doing "goofy" things would seem to generate "goofy" reports... I know, I generated more than a few of them...meaning, the only way to report it accurately is to document the goofiness of it all. Which in the "long run" makes for a "goofy" tale and not much of anything to be learned. Goofy just doesn't really have a pattern to it.
Which is why I choose not to use that word with our current administration... ;)

Nic, as much as I hate to say it this is clearly a case of a lone nut job.
Let's look at what is clear and obvious.

The kid shot his mother as she slept to steal her guns and car.

He disassembled his computer (s) and smashed the hard drives.

He loaded all available ammunition magazines and stowed them along
with the guns in his deceased mother's car.

Then went to her school and shot his way in. Very few were injured, most were killed
by shots to the head.

The idea that he could have found another nut job willing to execute young children
is more than far fetched. It can happen, look at Columbine high. But executing little kids
takes a special kind of nut.

I suggest he did it alone, driven by hate, anger and jealousy he murdered his mother
and all that was important to her. He destroyed her world.

That's probably pretty close to the truth, HH. :(
