Slick...I truly mean to be respectful....I do.
I'm gonna do my best to be that way.
Cut me some slack on interpretation....thnx

Back during the "depression"...when they outlawed/taxed the private ownership of "machine guns"...how many folks, do you believe, turned them in? There was no "buy back". You can't answer that and neither can I. My guess? Not many, as them "tommy guns" cost a couple hundred bucks.

Next to nobody, if anybody, is gonna voluntarily turn their guns in...not when, the line is "around the block" to buy'em.

So, whose gonna go "door to door" searching for them...how, you gonna get the "warrants"...cuz, a "warantless" search...don't apply.

Maybe, you think (I hope not), a bunch of "brown shirts" are gonna go around stompin' doors down...? My experience dictates? Not much longevity doing that.

It just don't matter what someone else's opinion is....Everybody I know...and that's more than several, is as damned particular about their guns...as they are their wives, children, pets and property. Folks who are "smart" don't debate that with'em. They damn sure don't put it to the "test".

So respectfully, say what you want....It's yer right.
When ya get around to doing what you say?
Know the consequences. Not everybody is a "pussie".
Proof of that is all the draftees in Arlington and elsewhere.

in all due respect, Pud, who the fuck is suggesting that folks are going to be forced to give up their weapons? License requirements? Maybe. Penalties if one is found to own a non-registered weapon? Maybe. But, active confiscation? No one has stated either the intent or interest to do that. Ever.

What's the "ultimate" goal?

Politically speaking...this should from your "stand" point, be interesting.
You already know the outcome.
This ain't Obama's campaign fund..we're talking about. (that's a heads up)

NRA is gearing up....new members signing up....to fight.
What organization is to oppose?
Funding is what will prevail..imho

Registration is the prerequisite to confiscation...you know it...you're just being
naively cute about it.

I'm just cuttin' to the chase...you know that too.

Seems to me...you favor the "brown shirts".

I dunno bro the NRA from what i read seema lot like the SSAA they are in it for themselves and not the shooters as much as one would expect, and stay far far away from registration look where it got us a lot of stuff banned over night. And i did see Obama is setting aside half a billion dollars for a buy back guess that will work for swapping broken guns for new ones

Salute Fats....

Funny how you get it....Sad how Slick don't.
Then again Fats...you been through the process..you know.

Course...Slick...wouldn't be Slick...without the "trick".

Then again...If this wasn't true? "Registration is the prerequisite to confiscation" ?
You'd have what we have. They just "fooled" you. I'm sorry about that, truly.
We're not gonna be fooled. They're gonna be surprised, folks here will fight over
this issue, with 10 fingers here and one finger, later, if need be.

We got the second amendment in a fight...gonna be the same fight to take it away.
Half this country....ain't like Obama, there's no surprise in that..except to Slick & Obama. Texas will not "stand down" and "stack rifles" because of some "poof" up North.

once again, no one has suggested confiscation, no one will. All you're doing is parrotting scare tactics the NRA uses to get your money. Losing your cash is more likely than losing your guns, in other words. Given that the NRA had a success rate in the 2012 elections of 0.83%, I don't think they are quite the scary force they once were.

Fats don't seem to think that...Gee, I wonder why?

Right now...it's a dab impossible to find all them "guns".
You register them, address and name them....
All ya gotta do? Send the equivalent of the "UPS" around to pick'em up.
I take it...you deny that.
I take it, on your word alone...that ain't gonna happen.
I take you for what you are...........

Take this advice.
Folks ain't gonna "take" to that.
However, on Obama's next "dance card" when he calls for "voluntary registration".....
I expect to see you, first in line.
You can "thank" that newspaper in New York for publishing the names of licensed legal gun owners...when your "voluntary" program falls flat on your ass.
"Slick", you and yours, ain't.
Your supposed "forth coming" mandatory registration?
Well? Your ass is just gonna get "flatter"... ;)

'my' mandatory registration? Really? I have been on here saying nothing of the sort. Cut back on your meds, or your 'squeezings' or both.
