I ask you, Buzz, what I asked Pud and others: what makes you think 'they' want that? I don't see it, I don't hear it from anyone in elected office, and call BS until you can proveably read minds or show me where someone even suggested it.

That'd be the crux of yer problem, it's all around you. Sounds like ya got
the same problem as Hillary. If'n Ruggie was here? He'd say something like
this: "Straight out of the DNC play book." I say: What you don't see and dont' hear, you don't have to address. Further, if ya don't have an address, you got no where to go. Stonewalling, denial, you prove it, qualifiers in yer statements to be used as an escape valve. And, as Ruggie would of said: "Straight out of the DNC play book."

Did ya not watch Obama hiding behind the kids last week.... or is it just another case of? "I don't see it, I don't hear it"

Slick........You can't say it's not being talked about. Are you really so sure what Obama has in mind? Not what he can get passed, but what he really wants.?

hardly. Having had two opportunities to hear the man quietly discuss his vision for America(behind closed doors), and reading everything pretty much written by him or his administration, NO ONE in their right mind can claim that he wishes to ban all guns or confiscate guns at all.

He says a lot of things you don't know about. He's being pressured. He can't fix the economy, but he can sure as hell get guns banned, or at least try. If he didn't think it would start a civil war. I think he'd really try for a full ban.

bullshit, and citing as the sole evidence a proposed UN law which holds exactly ZERO weight upon US law or the Constitution is utter nonsense. Like I said,
prove your assertion or expect anyone with a brain to assume you are full of shit.

maybe where you live. In the Northeast, MidAtlantic and Midwest, my view is common except for hardcore gun nuts. Note, by way of example, that the Penna Outdoor Show in Harrisburg is banning the display or sale of any 'assault type' rifles. Protests and howling? Of course, but it shows how strongly the bulk of the populace, even the hunting populace, feel about something needing to be done.

Look at the number of companies boycotting the Penna Outdoor Show....
Nobody gives a shit about what you want to do locally...take Chicago as an example.
You and Yours have no right to impose on me and mine.
I have the right to use MY SECOND AMENDMENT RIGHTS to stop you.
I'm not alone, I will stop you...if you push it that far. Right now, yer all lip.

What I find amusing about some of this is your attitude towards it?
You seem to think, that the Fed Gov. doesn't have to follow the law.
Well, by that understanding...States/Local don't have to either.
Just watch and learn or flip the pages back for the last four years.

The FBI and the BATF are gonna be running around with their tongues hanging out.
So, you Dem's better start figuring out what entitlements you wanna cut out quick.
Cuz, yer gonna need a half million or more "agents" to enforce what you say...and yer gonna half to find a way to pay for'em. Good Luck ;)
