Note, by way of example, that the Penna Outdoor Show in Harrisburg is banning the display or sale of any 'assault type' rifles. Protests and howling? Of course, but it shows how strongly the bulk of the populace, even the hunting populace, feel about something needing to be done.
If you posted on hunting forums you wouldn't think that way. Hunters don't want any kind of ban, because they know what it will lead to.

not surprised about forums, who draw the nutto fringe. I know the members of both sportsmans clubs I belong to overwhelmingly agree with me. All of them?
No, but most. Especially the one in CT.

It's like this....Buzz.

Slick is well aware...that he's wiped his ass with his own shirt tail, again.
This is just his way of say'n....it's his shirt tail and he don't care.
Same attitude expressed when the truth conflicts with "his plan".

Obama hosed his own...when he "shot" off his mouth last month.
Slick made the same mistake here.

bullshit on both counts. I have the majority on my side, this time around. Reagan called for the ban on assault weapons, Bush(elder) went further and did it, and then dropped his NRA membership out of disgust with them. This isn't some sort of radical agenda. And, I suspect you know it. The hunters I am proud to know and be friends with know it, too.

Self-proclaimed liberals are still a minority in this country - you do have the Senate and Executive branch in your favor; possibly the Supreme Court in the future. Regardless of what they push, encroaching on citizens right to defend themselves is still radical - in this country. Perhaps in the future, if 'transformative change' is completed, what used to be radical will be the new norm... right now it isn't.

I see slick. So, your little hunting clubs represent more of the hunting world than the millions on hunting forums, and all the petitions that are signed.

If the public, and all the hunters weren't worried about a ban. Why is everything sold out? I'm not just talking about assault rifles, ans everything related to it. I mean everything. Try to buy ammo, or reloading supplies for any caliber right now. Even black powder and the substitutes are back ordered 3 months. What does that have to do with assault rifles?

People are panicking, because they think everything is going to be banned.

Your own little hunting club world isn't reality.

Wake the fuck up!

The simple minded and the uninformed are always the first to panic.

couldn't have said it better, Res.
The weakminded panic, the intelligent give it thought.
