actually, around 75% of the Electorate is calling for an assault weapon ban of some sort. Few of them wish to see a weapons ban, and as I once said to Pud, the most dangerous thing that pro-gun advocates who are responsible gun owners can do is to stand with the rabid fools such as Ted Nugent and the likes who like to stir up the flames around, "they're coming for yer guns". Just not true....

I don't know any hunter in real life, or from any forum who listens to Ted. Actually, we all have a good laugh about him. Being a hunter doesn't mean we're dumb.

I'm sure it wasn't started by hunters. Do you have any idea how many people have guns who never hunt? Hunters have had to join in to have some ammo to hunt with. A vicious circle.
