Because Fox was almost in danger of being taken seriously.

Steve Doocy: "Iran has launched a monkey into space."

Gretchen Carlson: "How'd they do that?"

(a brief pause as Steve trys to figure out how to minimize the damage)

Steve Doocy:
"Well, they have rockets over there."

Gretchen Carlson:
"Oh!"

And just to make matters worse, Gretchen gets even dumber!

anyone with any suspicion that Faux News has a clue need look no further than last year's Presidential Election coverage. As late as 2 pm on Election Day,
the inimitable Dick Morris was calling a Romney landslide. Then, at 9 pm, Carl Rove demanded a reconsideration of a call for Obama.

although, to be Fair and Balanced, I suspect even Fox can feel the winds of change. The just fired Sarah Palin and hired Dennis Kucinich last week.....

$15 per word? Hell, if CWOS paid that sort of money, Pud could move out of the trailer park!

not to worry, Barfly. I doubt that the math involved took one person more than about 30 seconds, and was based on public information that could be compiled in under 10 minutes. Impact negligible, but thanks for parrotting the good old conservative talking point that Higher Educationn is a waste of time and money. Nothing like promoting ignorance to help keep the US relevant in the global economy, eh?

Not really, when you stop to consider that 90% of what he posts is copy and paste and not his words.
The trailer park is stuck with him I'm sure.
