well, if were to be certain it would happen(which I am not), I would choose the teachers defending the class. But, Buzz, don't you see how reality gets in the way of your example? What is a teacher panics, or worse, a bunch of them? Result-a hail of gunfire, killing more and prolonging the onslaught? What if no one attacks, but one of the teachers loses it? More chance for more dead kids. What is a teacher gets careless, and a 9 year old opens up with a handgun by accident? More dead. It's sort of like what they say in football about running a pass play, more bad things can happen than good. Except this is no game, we're talking about the day-to-day safety and education of little kids. And, to return to my core assumption, arming teachers is a REALLY STUPID idea.
