Re: Fear and Loathing....
"Governor John Hickenlooper, a Democrat, has said he supported the magazine limits and universal background check measures but was undecided on the college campus ban".
I'm with the governor, the campus ban is both senseless and unenforcable. The other parts are simply common sense. Go Colorado!!!

Looks like the Democrat controlled senate will probably not pass all bills... interesting discussion in the above post. Some are concerned that industries will leave the state - Magpul being one, which is a very successful magazine producer.

and that is a major economic hit for Colorado, why? If commonsense legislation brings in 5 jobs for every person employed making magazines, then good riddance, Magpul. Also, I'd love to ask Magpul execs how one state, regulating magazine size(not the manufacture of magazines in general) would necessitate them leaving and setting up shop elsewhere. Seems like whining and sour grapes....and, frankly, I find it hilarious that Magpul spent their shareholder's cash on a bunch of advertisement against the bill and got their asses slapped.

Did you give up your addiction to controlled substances for addiction to Statism and logical fallacies? Pretty simple question. Beckel is a perfect example of that.callmeslick wrote:Barfly wrote:http://www.denverpost.com/breakingnews/ ... ut-limited

These 4 bills don't affect me at all. No background check on muzzleloaders, and even if they change that, I already have mine.
No way to control all gun sales unless they register every gun in Colorado. I see no mention of that.
I think my heart is finally worn out. I really don't care anymore.
