My guess is you were probably required to have a career and retire before you could assume some of the reigns of the family inheritance.
Re: legal issue?
Amusingly, those type regularly confuse being 'disconnected from it all' with 'being above it all', lol.

no, but I was taught to earn my own way.....the principle of the family estate is that it is my generational responsibility to grow it and maintain it, not drain it like a leech. And, thus far, I've done pretty well, thanks.Barfly wrote:My guess is you were probably required to have a career and retire before you could assume some of the reigns of the family inheritance.
Pretty amusing to watch you and Pud speculate about people you'll never understand, or try and fathom the reasons why it is my(and my family's) self-interest to keep a healthy, happy and fair society.

You made my point, thanks. Barf away! lol. No speculation; you reveal enough over time to paint an accurate picture of your character by the way you present yourself, and reveal your social perspective by what you support.callmeslick wrote:no, but I was taught to earn my own way.....the principle of the family estate is that it is my generational responsibility to grow it and maintain it, not drain it like a leech. and what would that 'social perspective' be, pray tell? Take all the time you want, Settlesworth is firing up the Rolls so we can take a look at how the other half lives and throw nickels out the windows to the peasantry. He's the best, I tell you, and good help is SOOOOO hard to find. Toodles!

Re: legal issue?
That you believe you are part of a 'class' structure in a classless society, and your political perspective is informed by the progressive movement, which is government driven social evolution. That's pretty accurate.callmeslick wrote:and what would that 'social perspective' be, pray tell?
