Now we have demonstrable evidence that if you try to lead from behind, eventually the guys up front will stop looking back for instructions.
Government-coerced expression is a feature of dictatorships that has no place in a free country
Yeah, it's real funny that almost 4 billion is being taken out of the HUD program, and that Meals On Wheels will be shut down.
Who cares right? They're just a bunch of old farts with disabilities. They don't need a place to live. They don't need to eat. Just let them go to the streets and starve.
This is better than closing the tax loopholes on the rich right?
Fucking idiots! I wouldn't give you the sweat off my ass if you were dying of thirst.
Mercy...you folks ain't dealt with much adversity.....have ya?
I've advocated for years here...that we need to clean house in D.C.
The sequester semester is proof positive of that....these folks set the rules
and the penalties. It's "pay the piper" time. Why ain't you on the phone bitch'n
to yer Rep's and Senator?
speaking of Senators, I want to give a shout out to a Republican, who I seldom agree with:
Senator Pat Toomey of Pennsylvania:
I had emailed him around the time when the Senate was playing games with Hegel, and asked merely that he not vote for further limits on debate.
He actually complied, albeit not voting in one of the final rounds......But, what I wanted to give him credit for is that he sent me a personal email response,
which I just read a few minutes ago. My first thought was that it was some sort of robo-response thing from his office, but whoever wrote the thing did
respond, very specifically, to my words and phrases. It showed at least a little personal touch that is lacking from some quarters of this divisive political age.
