well, duh? I mean, the guy is left to fix an economic collapse, finally account for the war spending
in the budget, and try to stimulate job growth, without anyone wanting their taxes raised. Sounds
like a recipe for deficit spending. The question to ask is: will we eventually return to the balance that
Clinton managed, by the end of his term? I think it can be done, but time will tell.

it was a process. Still, folks like Gramm had more to do with the whole deregulation push(along with their
backers/handlers in finance) than any president or administration.
