both boring and predicatable.....heck, we even had one of the Brain Trust, above, who said it wasn't his job to put forth ideas. Yet, somehow he feels it his civic duty to whine about politicians he doesn't like(and we saw in another thread the likely reasons WHY, now didn't we?)

More trolling? So what you’re saying is that the foreign policy of the Mickey Mouse club is spot on and the best for the country? Unlike you I don’t pretend to be a great politician and a Middle East foreign policy expert. I could find many people that could do a much better job than those that are making a mess of things now. You just keep on with the thinking that skin color has anything to do with my dislike of Obama! It just reinforces your bigotry! Between you and the little leach locked onto your nut sack you sure have put forth some master trolling on these forums. You are unable to have honest discourse, first you must be an honest person to start with!callmeslick wrote:both boring and predicatable.....heck, we even had one of the Brain Trust, above, who said it wasn't his job to put forth ideas. Now we have demonstrable evidence that if you try to lead from behind, eventually the guys up front will stop looking back for instructions.

Actually....I can....Impeach our imposter president.callmeslick wrote:back to whining as usual. Can one of you rocket scientists put forth a plan of what we should do in the region as a whole, or Syria specifically. I'm dying to hear......
He wasn't just satisfied with fecking up our country...now, he's on to others.

once again, Blame Obama is NOT a game plan, especially if you don't have to balls to stand up here and say what the US should be doing differently.

Re: Syria, Obama can't blame this one on Hillary
so says the closet racist who exposed himself to us all the other day. Look, as I keep telling you all, simply saying Obama Bad, anyone else could do better is not an intelligent answer. Clearly,Bush didn't do better. Frankly, in my book neither did Clinton, Bush Sr., Reagan or Carter. The facts are that over the past 20 years, the rest of the world has stopped looking to and trusting the US to 'fix' everything. Largely, because we tended to screw things up worse, when we tried. Thus, we live in a new reality, and unless you want to go all John McCain and put US boys in harms way in about 25 different places in the world, a little restraint and a hell of a lot of caution IS the intelligent approach, which is precisely what Obama's team has been doing. Kudos to them.Darkhorse wrote:More trolling? So what you’re saying is that the foreign policy of the Mickey Mouse club is spot on and the best for the country? Well, Slick, what is the "current game plan"?callmeslick wrote:once again, Blame Obama is NOT a game plan, especially if you don't have to balls to stand up here and say what the US should be doing differently.
Nobody seems to know, not even you.
Seems to me and many others, the "current game plan" is to have "no plan" at all.
"you don't have to balls to stand up here and say what the US should be doing differently."
You first, it's yer idea. If'n ya don't go first? I'll take that as a "no plan is the best plan" as your answer.

rather obviously, don't get involved unless US interests are threatened directly and seriously. Work with core allies and others in the International community to keep situations under control as best as possible(in Syria's case, that seems to be Russia and the Gulf States). This isn't rocket science, nor guesswork on my part. Anyone with newsreading skills can divine this.Pudfark wrote:Well, Slick, what is the "current game plan"?callmeslick wrote:once again, Blame Obama is NOT a game plan, especially if you don't have to balls to stand up here and say what the US should be doing differently.
only to whiners, and yes, that includes you and many others. But, then again, you whine about ANYTHING Obama or his team say or do, so by now, that has little effect on the majority of us in the nation who actually think issues through.Nobody seems to know, not even you.

and, since I've stated, repeatedly, that I am ok with the current approach, it is NOT incumbant on me to lay out some more elaborate plan. I'm not bitching like a teenaged girl over the state of affairs. You are. Now, what would you do differently? And, please, come up with something with some meat on it this time. I'm really getting bored.

Re: Syria, Obama can't blame this one on Hillary
You have failed miserably with trying to dazzle me with your brilliance and trying to baffle me with bull shit is not working either! I can tell by the plate of steaming crap you are serving your knowledge of Middle East politics and the US involvement in it is somewhere around the High School level. If you would move beyond the DNC talking points and increase your depth into the subject you will find that your kudos is premature at the least! Your trip around life with blinders on and your fingers in your ears must be quite satisfying for you. The dogma you try to push here is getting old, try to expand your universe a bit and see there is a lot more to the world! Oh and for your future reference just because I believe that Obama’s policies are bad I do not believe that those before him were much better, better but not much. At least US interests were somewhat taken into count in the past.callmeslick wrote:so says the closet racist who exposed himself to us all the other day (DNC playbook). since I'm doing neither, you may have something not working too well, either, such as reading comprehension.Darkhorse wrote:You have failed miserably with trying to dazzle me with your brilliance and trying to baffle me with bull shit is not working either!
I might be a notch or two up from that, but I await your demonstration of your depth of knowledge.......one, two, three, here it comes, right?I can tell by the plate of steaming crap you are serving your knowledge of Middle East politics and the US involvement in it is somewhere around the High School level.
oh, my bad, more mealy mouthed drivel. Why don't you do a little research into the following and get back to us:If you would move beyond the DNC talking points and increase your depth into the subject you will find that your kudos is premature at the least! Your trip around life with blinders on and your fingers in your ears must be quite satisfying for you. 1.Gulf State monetary involvement with other Middle Eastern states, post-Arab Spring
2.Potential and real alliances at work in the region.
3.Access and control of the Suez Canal, Red Sea region and how that relates to Iran
There's a lot more in play, but start out slow and work up to speed.
