Aaron Alexis, convict, hot head and in a gun free city...

Post by HappyHappy »

Anyone got any idea how this P.O.S. got guns?
Also how are gun laws supposed to stop anyone
when Washington DC's ultra strict gun laws failed
and did little more than to guarentee no resistance
in a similar manner to the Norway massacre....
And how did the POS get through "security"?
It is a US NAVY base.

Something is WRONG with this picture.
We had the murderous Tsarnaev bothers in a STRICT
anti gun state and now Aaron Alexis in a city that is
nearly devoid of legal firearms.

End result is that Laws ain't worth the paper they are printed on.
The proof is in the puddin.

Every base i was stationed at had real MP's of some sort at the gate.
HAFB Utah was no different BUT the civillian workers mobbed the gates
in the AM so badly security became a joke. We had and still have
a huge civillian work force there. We called the morning rush the "Mormon 500".
The gate guards just waved everyone through during the rush.

Washington has a similar morning rush.
I believe this is how that piece of shit got through.

A little scandal at HAFB Utah back in the 80's in the link below.

What HH said is correct back those days...when security was important and paramount to the installation.

Now days/daze, it's all about the "appearance" of security. Not actually, being secure.
Think TSA, ICE, ARMY, NAVY and AIR FORCE for concrete examples. Think Obama/Syria for "appearances".

Back in the day, my dad was in charge of the security of the largest military installation in the "free world". That was 40 years ago. Civilians were not involved in the security of that installation.

This idea of.....turning a blind eye, the other cheek and a deaf ear to a problem is working...how well?
Their answer....we gotta spin, cover it up and ignore it....better. Is working how well?

It ain't about how safe you think and feel you are? It's about how safe you are in FACT, what you see and what you KNOW. Camera's, Girl Scouts and Media do not make anybody safe.

It ain't hard to figure out...it ain't hard to do.

Wow, no AK47, no AR15, no large capacity magazines, what's a gun hater to do?
Just a Biden gun, yes people he followed Joe Biden's advise and got a shot gun.

So much for the theory that banning "assault rifles" will solve any problems.
Aron Alexis appears to have done all this with a "Biden Gun".

I know of a few bases that in morning peak if you have a sticker on the windscreen you will just be waved in, no checks

Before last Monday that was true at most US Military
bases with large civillian work forces. HAFB Utah had a
massive civillian work force back in the 1970's. The gate
guards were a joke during the rush. They saluted and or
waved them through at a furious pace. There were random spot
checks for sure, but checking everyone never happened.
I was in the rush at more than one base, the guards did not
stand a chance of more than a glance.
