"Civil Rights"...God Bless Dr. King

Post by Pudfark »

The "Civil Rights Movement" in the 60's is rightfully and correctly attributed to Dr. King.
He was a great man, with great ideas and the courage of his conviction. We all owe him
a debt of gratitude and perpetual honor/respect. He had a "dream" and because of that,
I have one too.

I believe, what was long overdue in the 60's in regard to establishing/guaranteeing/safe guarding the "Civil Rights" of a targeted minority, "Black Americans", is now...a colorless issue. It's an issue to all "Americans" and their "guaranteed" rights under the Constitution. I respectfully suggest that all Americans follow Dr. King's example. Dr. King knew, then, what folks have seemingly forgotten now?

That folks, while they may have been given their rights, have to earn/use them, to insure/ensure them.
Dr. King gave/sacrificed his life for them and their "fair application" to all.

I, respectfully suggest, another "Civil Rights Movement" associated with the Constitutional "Rights of All" to parallel, Dr. King's. Same Goal, Same Way and Same Method. The Same for Everybody. It worked the first time. I believe it will work the second time.

The difference between Obama and Dr. King?
Well?
Obama wants the American Government to enslave the citizens to His Dream.
Dr. King wanted all people to be free, to pursue the American Dream.

R.I.P. Dr. Martin Luther King
Thank You Sir.

I matters not that Callmeshit and his pet Chimp no longer post here.
They still read our words of wisdom and fail to form intelligent rebuttal.

Well....I see the lack of the "other" POV....as a validation of my POV.

Reflecting on the past?
Taking all of Slick's posts into account....his time spent here, was akin to a "driveby" in the hood.
Spray and Pray...Rant and Rave...Kiss Ass and Haul Ass.

When ya factor in "OCD"...Obama Care Disorder ?
Hell, if I had "shot my mouth off"....like he did?
I'd of at least "stuck" around...ate my shit sammy...because, folks can be wrong sometimes...
What I've learned in life? Watching/Observing others? It's a dab difficult, for the "two faced" folks,
to "face up" to their mistakes. Evident here.

Old Pudfark sez: " The Truth will set you free.....Lies will make you leave.... "

Any who....Slick can always be found in the "Jockstraps and G-strings" section...AKA: "Guessing Section"...here, at ACWOS.

Who knows? Maybe, Rugg will come back and defend his honor....or explain the lack, thereof?

Back to Dr. MLK, I'm really beginning to identify with him....I've never done, an "in depth" study of the man, before.... I'm kinda personally embarrassed by that...to such an extent, I've been doing a lot of reading the last couple of days.... Cherry picking MLK's statements by misquoting/misinterpreting can lead a young liberal in the wrong direction. When the man's life and total verbiage are taken as a whole? He was one very smart determined individual and very much selflessly set out to "right" the known wrongs of his time.... All of what he accomplished transpired....from his singular view, "non-violence", peaceful public discord. He changed a nation in a decade. Back then, he was frustrated with the same issues....black votes were bought, sold and often fraudulent. Meaning/Considering, there existed no relevant way for blacks to "change" things. It's like that now, though, it's not "racial" this time.

"Our" argument now is "ideological"...and about "big government" and most apparent now, our votes don't count...anymore than "black votes" did back then. History has recorded other similar events and the results. Most often, it resulted in violence. Ghandi and MLK went about it the exact opposite, peacefully. I advocate the peaceful process....first. OCD was "passed" in the middle of the night, unilaterally, under the guise of law. I don't care who ya are, that's wrong. So, I say, lets use the "past" as effectively as Dr. MLK taught us. OCD for Obama and the "middle of the night" Dems....is like throwing gasoline on a fire, lots of heat and lots of light. In the "spot light", so to speak.

So, now is the time to act....peacefully demonstrate....against this type of government....quit being used as a pawn of opportunity by the rich, "untouchable", unaccountable, irresponsible left wing socialist progressive Democrats. Let's let their own arrogance and apathy destroy them, peacefully.

;)

Funny that Connie Rice became a Republican in large part
because the Democrats were the party of the KKK and wanted to
force registration of all firearms. She felt the Klan would have used
those records to disarm the black people and render them defensless.
