Frank Sinatra is so over-rated it isn't funny. He is a mediocre singer at best. Harry Connick Jr. has a better voice.
surely, you jest. Because, essentially, Harry Connick Jr. HAS Sinatra's voice, or the best facsimile he could
make of it. Listen to older Sinatra. The man had one of the great jazz/pop voices, ever.
I have to back slick on that one. When Sinatra was on his game he was on his game! Youtube his very early stuff ( pre movie cash ins ) A lot like Elvis in fact, easy to copy, but not quite easy to copy at the same time.

In another 50 years time, people will still be trying to sound like him which kinda says it all :)

Just to add fuel to the fire, Dean Martin, what a crooner :)

and, exactly that. Martin had a voice, to be sure, but none of the complexity Sinatra brought to the table, in terms of phrasing or interpretation.
