Funny how you never mention the 1.3 million Unemployed who lose their check in 7 days, and the 6 million others who benefit from those checks indirectly. except, by your own admission, there is no panic, no chaos. The world is at relative peace, the nation is progressing economically, and finally, Congress is attempting to work to pass legislation. A well-earned break, with, as his noted, the high hopes of getting Vet Benefits, Unemployment compensation, Immigration reform and Tax Reform done in 2014.

yet, he's 8 points about Bush at the same point in the term, and about even with Clinton. In this contentious nation, polling 42% support isn't half bad. Just ask Congress(8%, same poll).

This is your entire message, for like forever....yet, the nation continues forward, albeit with the expected fits and starts. I do note that you call the unemployed 'Freeloaders', and this is consistent with the meanspirited current in what passes these days for Conservatism in the US. Once upon a time, both on the left and right, it was deemed good for the nation to lift up those on the bottom rungs, help out those in need. Even in such efforts failed or fell short of goal, it was the common understanding of virtually everyone that the nation was a better place for the mere effort. Now, we have a small, but nasty and evil chunk of the population who can't help themselves and wish to shit on the less fortunate, kick them when they are down and refuse any ATTEMPT to make life better for them. You, Pud, are part of that problem. As such, you get the respect from me that you have earned as a fellow citizen: None.
