They should invite Action Jackson on one show.
Heck, I would watch that one!
Jackson, his wife, mistress(es?) and bastard child(ren?).
Dang that would offer competition to "Sister Wives"...

yeah, that part was a load of stupid, for anyone who ever paid attention to how the pre-Civil Rights Act South worked. At any rate, it will be interesting to see how the show goes forward. There has been a tremendous drop-off in viewership over the past two weeks, likely just a Holiday effect, but likely some folks tuning out purposely on both sides of the issue. In related news, I am 3/4 through Phil's book, which my wife got me for Christmas. I don't agree with the stupid stuff he said in the interview about blacks, and DEFINITELY don't agree with goofy literal interps of the Bible, but I've always loved his views on the dangers of the modern world(too much TV, video games, too little outdoor activities), and his love of the woods and rivers. Interestingly, the book isn't real preachy, doesn't make the goofy points he came up with in that interview, and is a pretty good read(he had a ghostwriter, of course). Fascinating how he got the business off the ground. A credit to sheer perserverance.

Glad yer enjoying the book.
Well, you halfway addressed the viewership thingy...did it dawn on you, their regular "season" is over.
Their Christmas show had 12 million viewers, it was a new one. ;)

What's goofy about honestly reflecting on your memories of working side by side with Black Folks and stating accurately what you observed? "They were happy" and not complaining, racially? What is untrue or disturbing to anyone, about that......unless? There exists a hidden agenda?

Phil Robertson's whole life and family....has the appearance of being built on "sheer perseverance" to include this recently manufactured "liberal" induced debacle....that backfired, big time.

You "lib" folks oughta be damn scared. It's likely, I hope so, a notable change in momentum on the "conservative" side. Everybody now knows? You "libs" are beatable. You should know it too.

Who'd a "thunk"....old Phil....could rally a nation, so quickly?
It surprised me. 8-)

:) From the get go of this manufactured "crisis", I've been a hell of a lot more accurate about it's outcome....than either of you. :)

This is why you folks, keep getting spanked here and elsewhere, so often. It's called being "closed minded", meaning, if it don't suit yer agenda, you ignore it. If ya don't like it, ya dismiss it. If it persists, you name call it. When it blows up in yer face, ya blame it on someone else. News Flash fer ya both, the "tide" is changing and them what ain't aware of it.....are "left" high and dry. 8-)

just sayin' ;)
