Cutting off unemployment benefit extension, which has been shown very clearly to: 1) sustain and propel recoveries, 2)produce net revenue for the government(thanks to secondary employment boosts by spending) and 3) save the homes and very lives of a few million fellow citizens. That the economy is recovering is not in doubt, my bank account and brokerage statement attests to that. Further, Dawg, you predicted an ECONOMIC COLLAPSE. It didn't happen. Own up to it, or to put it another way, man up.
The economy is making a damn fine comeback Well, if'n it is ? Why ya so concerned with unemployment bennies? Dawg don't need no defense. However, I'll offer a viable explain as to how I understood his remark..

I see it as...the mathematically predicted total failure of ObamaCare. Fail it would. However, who was to know at that time? That Obama, of his own volition/violation would change the ACA 27 times (so far)...thereby, delaying the inevitable ECONOMIC COLLAPSE....which, btw, is still coming....our debt now exceeds 18 trillion. Most intelligent folks know (not counting any Dem's here) when ya can't pay yer debts and yer borrowing to stall the creditors....ECONOMIC COLLAPSE is right around the corner.
It's very reasonable to me that Slick will not admit to this. I don't blame him. If'n he did admit it, he'd have the responsibility to fix it...and he don't have the team to do it. Hence, his blinders are on tight.
That's how I see it....
EDIT: Seems this fella agrees with Dawg too.
"Baser instincts - Why does Obama persist in flouting or dictating laws when voters are opposed to the practice? Some have posited that it is a result of Obama’s famously insular nature. But what National Journal’s Ron Fournier has called Obama’s “white flag syndrome” does have its upside.
The president has kept his foundering health law lurching forward by using executive orders to delay particularly damaging or disruptive components and done so without having to alienate the liberal base that launched him into the White House and continues to fund his hugely expensive grass-roots and community organizing efforts."
