And the world is and will be a better place when people's colour or race or creed, is not a factor held against their ability. Wether Obama is a token gesture, or the right man for the job is yet to be seen, but, from a global perspective, it all seems to be working out as usual.

As to politics, I lean to the left, you might even call me a Socialist, in that I believe in personal freedom within responsibility, and the fair distribution of resources ( based on need and merit, but also on compassion ).
