Pudfark's prediction vs Slick's predilection

I been sayin' this all along..most especially in the "three-three-three" thread.

Administration adds major new exemption for ObamaCare individual mandate

In what might be the death knell for ObamaCare's most controversial component -- the individual mandate to buy insurance -- the administration has added a mega-exemption that critics say would allow virtually anybody to skirt the rule.

"The door's wide open," economist Doug Holtz-Eakin told Fox News. "[The] mandate which they said was absolutely crucial to ObamaCare is falling apart day by day."

The document said that individuals can now qualify for a "hardship exemption" -- meaning they would not have to pay a penalty for not buying insurance -- if they "experienced another hardship in obtaining health insurance."

The document does not define what "another hardship" means, and suggests the administration might not be a stickler when it comes to proof either. It says anyone seeking this exemption should "submit documentation if possible."

All along, the administration has rejected congressional attempts to officially delay the individual mandate in its entirety. The White House even threatened to veto one such bill.

But the 14 exemptions now on the books raise the question of whether the mandate has been pushed off in all but name.

"There's a real question as to whether the White House just abandoned the individual mandate," Boehner said Thursday. "It just seems they are hoping no one will notice."

Seems...I made the three month "deadline"....by two weeks. Good luck financially punishing the young folks in our country, Slick and then expecting them to sign up? Oh, and bend over...ya got a big "premium hike"..."headed" yer way.... :lol:

as I pointed out months ago, the mandate carries with it no enforcement provisions and never did, so I see no big deal. Frankly, the plan depends on the cooperation of the society as a whole, which is coming along nicely, from recent numbers(VA looking good, same with MD....Delaware still lagging,etc).
My prediction stays. Yours isn't really clear.

Secret report details utter failure of Massachusetts ObamaCare exchange

Everything about ObamaCare is wrapped in lies, evasions, and obfuscation. Fox Mulder and Dana Scully never had to go through this many layers of cover-up to get at the truth.

That's true of the state exchanges as well as the federal operation. For example, the Boston Herald had to use a crowbar to pry a secret "not for public release" report out of the Massachusetts Health Connector... a report so carefully buried that even exchange board members were unaware of its existence. The Herald gives us a good idea of why this report had to be kept from the public, while a shorter, somewhat less damning - but still "blistering" - was released:

There was never any actual performance testing of the website before it went live Oct. 1 — a failure that “should have been enough to delay its launch,” said Joshua Archambault of the Pioneer Institute. “Yet the state moved forward anyway, and we have witnessed the anxiety and pain these problems have caused”;
There was no accountability for staffers for failing to perform;
The project wasn’t properly coordinated. “People that were supposed to be talking to each other weren’t,” said Bill Curtis, the chief scientist at CAST Software; and
Even early on in the project, MITRE analysts found, the site was displaying the same glitches that would later plague applicants when they tried navigating.

“To sum it all up in one word — amateurish,” Curtis said. “There’s a lot more
information, and some of it is fairly alarming. It really looks like the first report is an
executive summary. The
second report really provides all the details ... some of which makes you suspect they found even more things.”

So ObamaCare managed to be an epic disaster even in a state that already had RomneyCare up and running. Nobody involved with this clusterfark gave a second thought to the inconvenience, anguish, and waste of time they dumped on the public by pulling the trigger on a system that was nowhere near ready for launch - either in states like Massachusetts, or Washington D.C.

oooooh, 'Secret Reports'!! Scary, scary Obamacare. What a freaking joke you are! Give it up. It's the law of the land, it isn't going to be overturned or any thing else beyond improved(as was Medicare, Social Security, for prior examples).

Once again, no links, no author, no citation. Now, we're down to 'a secret report shows....'. Pathetic.

"For the record" (your words asshole) Obama is the law of the land, he's a petty tin horn dictator.
He flaunts, distorts and breaks the law at will. He FAILS to follow his own Demo-Care rules
breaking them at every turn.

Obama is a Stalinist. he is paranoid and used government to squash his oponnents (remember the IRS scandal).

We as a nation are degenerating into a third world dictatorship under the thumb of the "Democrats".
When the Demo's are driven from power in 2016 I hope Obama will be smart enough to step aside
and not to declare martial law and seize power. But I expect he will do just that.

Callmeshit has been exposed as a liar and Democratic minion parroting
their hard line every time he shoots his mouth off.

Now he is just what he seems to be, a moronic heckeler trolling this forum
posting bullshit and insult while his pet Chimp RD follows in lock step.

I accept your apologies. It's a shame, ya don't accept the veracity of the link? You probably don't know? They are an up and coming legitimate News Organization. They've just added Texas and European branches to their structure. 8-)
