Sen. Reid calls supporters of Nevada rancher Bundy 'domestic terrorists'

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid said he believes the supporters who rallied around Nevada rancher Cliven Bundy in his fight against the federal government are “domestic terrorists” and Bundy does not respect his country.

The Las Vegas Journal-Review reported that Reid, D-Nev., made the comments at an event Thursday hosted by the paper called “Hashtags & Headlines.”

“They’re nothing more than domestic terrorists,” Reid said, according to the paper. “I repeat: what happened there was domestic terrorism.”

no, that wasn't like the Boston Tea Party, who had no representation in the government. These loons(presumably) are citizens and can vote. No, they are, much as Reid indicates, attempting a terrorist act in support of a free-loader trying to avoid grazing fees and BLM management practices. They should have all been shot, for all I care.

Stalin would be proud of you.
You're sure in need a splashin' a little cold water on yer face this morning...
Them folks in Nevada don't have any representation, which was the point of my post, other'n themselves.
You were able to feebly discern the voting thingy....and this "fall".
Here's an additional thought for ya that I alluded to elsewhere....We could call this activity "Band of Brothers Behavior"....some folks might get a "charge" outta that....others, a bang fer their buck.

having quite a few friends out that way(and up to Idaho), most people(including ranchers) support the BLM on this one. The guy in question is viewed as a selfish free-loader, unwilling to follow rules that have worked for decades.

The rancher is guilty as hell for not paying his grazing fees, the problem is the heavy handed armed response by the Government. There is more to this than what has been in the media. The money behind Reid has a hand in this! So Slick you condone murder of your fellow citizens because they stood up to the Government for going way over the top on a problem that can easily be taken care of in the court system? You agree this is a terrorist act on the part of the people, so who were they terrorizing, the tortoises? What the Reid and BLM did was the terrorist act!

ter·ror·ist /ˈterərist/

noun: terrorist; plural noun: terrorists

a person who uses terrorism in the pursuit of political aims.

anyone who actually followed the whole story knows that the government patiently waited YEARS to go through every court imaginable with this process.
And, still, the 'rancher' chose to illegally use public land. The only 'heavy-handed' response was to round up the cattle and get them off the land. The folks who made the situation potentially dangerous were the gun-toting loons that showed up in Bundy's defense.

:) So, you're sayin' that the "rancher" tore down fences or busted the locks off the gates?
It's very apparent to others that the govt. folks there...were dangerous idiots and learned nothing from the OWS idiots. Most folks are of the "fair weather" persuasion, meaning? How many of those same folks would'a showed up in the middle of winter? This situation in Nevada was totally thoughtless on the govt. part. Mind numbing stupid. Undoubtedly fees are owed along with interest and potential fines. The biggest problem I see in this situation was the lack of objectivity/planning on the part of the govt and that tactics of a "union strike breaker" thug.

BTW I don't believe any, if any of the due processes in court...have been completely adjudicated.
Nobody gave a damn about this rancher....until....Reid and family could make a buck and pay for a political favor. It's just another typical example of the Obama Admin. behavior.

Ya, spin that shit Slick! A lean on his property would have gotten the Government payed at some point. The only reason for the armed assault was Reid wants that land now for his own personal gain. A couple of days prior Reid's little bitch became the head of the BLM. Read the links I posted, you cannot get any closer than the local papers and people! Step away from the kool aid and look past the party rhetoric and you will see what is going on, be your own man for once.
