"As ObamaCare grants run out, Colorado contemplates new taxes - Denver Post: “Connect for Health Colorado officials have touted the state’s insurance exchange as frugal and having relatively low fees. But after spending at least $100 million in federal funding, the exchange is scrambling to figure out how to sustain itself beyond this year. The exchange may find itself in a difficult position as it seeks solutions in coming months because some members of its own board, along with a vocal group of legislators, oppose fee increases. Its financial outlook may have worsened Friday when the state extended through 2015 health plans that aren’t compliant with the Affordable Care Act, which is likely to lower enrollments through the exchange… It has been funded mostly by federal grants but will rely more on fees in the future….”

FBI TO INVESTIGATE OREGON OBAMACARE CRASH
WSJ:
“The Federal Bureau of Investigation is looking into problems that plagued Oregon’s implementation of the Affordable Care Act, after the state was forced to scrap its problematic health insurance exchange that was never fully functional, according to people familiar with the investigation… Multiple congressional and government probes into what went wrong in Oregon are already under way, and it hasn't been determined whether the failed effort was a result of incompetence or if taxpayer money was abused and mishandled. A recent assessment of Oregon’s problems conducted on behalf of Democratic Gov. John Kitzhaber’s office assigned blame both to the state’s construction of the program and Oracle which was paid to help set up the system….A spokeswoman for Oracle said the company wasn't aware of the reported FBI inquiry.”

Kansas University grad students snared by ObamaCare - Lawrence Journal-World: “KU has said the university is considering a reduction of total graduate student work hours to adapt to the Affordable Care Act, which requires employers to provide group health coverage to employees working 30 hours a week or more… The proposal to limit total graduate student work hours to 20 per week would be a sizable hit to many students’ income.

It's proving true....ObamaCare has more holes in it....than a colander.

A quote from yer "reliable" link....

"And it's consistent with evidence about the raw number of people who have signed up for insurance through the new marketplaces—and, yes, who have paid their premiums."

So....really.....how do "they" know who has paid their premiums and Obama don't know?

Old Pudfark sez: " It's sounds like one of them telephone "poles"... "

Stacey Campfield, Tenn. state senator, likens ObamaCare to Holocaust

"Democrats bragging about the number of mandatory sign ups for Obamacare is like Germans bragging about the number of manditory sign ups for 'train rides' for Jews in the 40s," he wrote.

"I think Jewish people should be the first to stand up against Obamacare," Campfield said. "When you have government deciding who gets health insurance and who doesn't, what services they get and what services they have to provide, they're really deciding who lives and who dies."

and that, folks, should be the end of this discussion. When you have to invoke Nazi Germany to complain about extending healthcare opportunities(NO ONE, as it turned out, actually ended up losing healthcare), you have NO ARGUMENT any more. EOT for me.

Understood Slick....yer "excused", again. ;)

For the more enlightened others...The "nazi" thingy wasn't the thingy. It was an example.
An example of...."total control" of the government and no "self control/choice"....like back then, under those circumstances.

The current circumstances....are evolving to the same level of power/authority. It's where ya have a vote every four-six years and no choice in between. With a serious medical situation and current rules, regulatory process and appeal process....Ya might not be alive or the folks ya care about...to vote fer another "change" in health care. This is a "one way" path/journey. Ya see, somebody else, that you don't know, never heard of, will make the medical decisions fer you and yours.....and the rest of us. They'll decide how much money is available for treatment, who'll provide it, when you'll get it...if at all? And the cheapest course of treatment. Your only choice? Well, to decide, if'n yer gonna show up and go through the process.

So, it's understandable...why Slick is bending over/bowing out of the debate. It's his way of saying..."it don't matter, it's being shoved up yer butt and I don't have to "stick" around and hear the squealing...."

Well...he don't. It will be his turn, this "fall".

Agreed HH.
However....when he hauls ass retreating...it's hard to keep up with him....

Truthfully, HH.... I don't blame him...(based upon his previous self defecating comments)...for getting out of the "deep end" of the pool. Some where..between "Benghazi", "IRS", "DOJ", "EPA", "ObamaCare" and the "Ukraine thingy".... hiding out on the fishing pier....maybe his only safe place..........temporarily. ;)

you all, for several years, have had NOTHING of substance to say. You regurgitate right-wing propaganda, generally get caught in lies and then blabber about 'winning'. There's no debate with you, because you have nothing to bring to a debate. You call me a Nazi, a Communist, etc, but with NOTHING to contribute past name calling. Then, you try and compare a healthcare plan with Naziism? Pathetic. So, go ahead and continue the circle jerk. I defy any intelligent reader to agree with your conclusions. And yes, the fishing was decent until the storm hit. Fresh Flounder!!!!!!
