BTW...speaking about "getting skewered"....here's another point. :)

REVEALED: 74% OF OBAMACARE 'ENROLLEES' ALREADY HAD INSURANCE

A devastating new McKinsey & Co. report finds that Obamacare's purported purpose – providing coverage for the previously uninsured – has failed.

The report concludes that 74% of Obamacare enrollees at the end of the first open enrollment period already had insurance; just 26% reported being previously uninsured. Of those who were previously uninsured, the figure drops to only 22% when considered alongside whether the individual has activated his plan by paying his first month's premium.

According to the Associated Press, at least 4.7 million Americans had their health insurance plans canceled due to Obamacare. Many of those individuals simply went through the Obamacare exchanges to buy policies to replace the ones President Barack Obama's healthcare program outlawed.

The McKinsey & Co. study also revealed that nearly half (48%) of individuals who said they do not plan to enroll in 2015 were "unaware of the penalty for lack of coverage." The so-called "individual mandate" imposes graduated penalties on individuals who choose not to purchase care. Even after respondents were informed of the penalty, only 29% of those currently uninsured said they plan to enroll in 2015.

Obamacare remains deeply unpopular nationally. According to the latest Pew/USA Today poll, Obamacare's approval rating now stands at a record-low 41%.

I can tell all about the VA med system in general and the Phoenix VA in particular. I retired in Nov, 2004 and went to the VA the next day to apply for disability benefits. My benefits were awarded in 2012 and it was an uphill battle all the way.
Now we have demonstrable evidence that if you try to lead from behind, eventually the guys up front will stop looking back for instructions.

parts of that system have been a disgrace for years, from many reports. That sucks, because if any citizens EARN healthcare, the Vets have. As you all know, I am NOT a fan of general 'special status' for vets, but I do feel that they should have fair return on the bargain they made when they served.

"That sucks" and that quote is gonna be applicable to ObamaCare. If not? Why not? How not?
What's gonna be different?

What's the difference between "earned" and "paid" Federal Health Care?
Why/How/When is there gonna be a difference...if any?

Vet's did not make a "bargain" on healthcare/VA benefits. It was a unilateral/aleatory contract where the terms were not negotiable and only dictated by one party and as DH pointed out...it's been a damned struggle to get, what he was given and earned. All I'm sayin' is apply this to ObamaCare....and see the same type of "bargain" offered/forced in the same manner and what you said above "That sucks" seems real relevant.

Old Pudfark sez: " When ya see how the Veteran's have been "treated" and you know what sacrifices they have made, both to their families and themselves for their country and their fellow citizens....are ya so naive...as to think...you'll be "treated" any better? If so? Why? "

Nope...
I compared it to ObamaCare....and challenged you to the "difference" of it vs VA care.
Still doing it... :)
You're still dodging...it. ;)

yes, because VA is an intact healthcare system, with it's own facilities and staffing. ObamaCare doesn't exist, and the ACA(which is the term you are groping for) is merely a regulatory INSURANCE program. There is utterly NOTHING in common. NOTHING.
Still doing it... :)
You're still dodging...it. ;)
dodging? I stated the obvious, you acted confused. It seemed pretty much like a normal exchange with you.....
