I've commented on everything posted by me in this thread. Seems, upon review, you haven't.

Seems Bill Clinton will always be known for the "BJ" and lying.
Looks like Barry is gonna be known for "I ran" and lying.

US weighs alliance with Iran to counter ISIS, boosts presence in Gulf
THE OBAMA ADMINISTRATION reportedly is preparing to open direct talks with Iran on possibly cooperating to counter the Sunni militant force seizing large swaths of Iraq and threatening Baghdad, weighing an unlikely alliance in the face of a common foe.

TORONTO – Former U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton says the proposed Keystone XL pipeline shouldn't be seen as a proxy for the relationship between Canada and the United States.

Clinton made a speech in Toronto on Monday to promote her new book before taking questions from Frank McKenna, Canada's former ambassador to the U.S. McKenna noted the Obama administration's delayed decision is source of tension and is increasingly viewed as a proxy for the relationship.

Seems I'm fer keystone and yer for millstone.... ;)

Keystone really benefits no one except one Canadian oil producer, so no big deal. As for cooperating with Iran, I told you that Iran was going to be the big player if Iraq is to be protected from utter annihilation. That we and they might work cooperatively might be the long-overdue beginning of better relations with the biggest player in the Shiite world, which would be huge.

what I want to know, Pud, is what do YOU think we should do in the region? No what news byte you can re-post, what do YOU think?
You already seem to have inferred that you would have gotten an agreement of some sort that would have kept our soldiers in the country past 2009. I disagree. We weren't accomplishing anything past holding back the inevitable before that point, so paying a few hundred million to keep holding back the inevitable until we finally faced a force sizable enough to send a few hundred more Americans home in body bags seems a bad deal to me.

You're fond of old timey types of observations....how about this one:"stop throwing good money after bad", or "know when to hold em and when to fold em". We should have NEVER entered Iraq in 2003, remaining there is even more idiotic and returning after leaving would make Bush look like Einstein. I'll pass, thanks. Time to stay focused on the US.

I know, considering the fool thought a U of PA poll only questioned Pennsylvanians. Apparently, he is unaware that Penn is an internationally renowned Ivy League University........

I absolutely agree with some of what you said.... :)

Joe's solution back then sucks as bad as it does now and is just as "practical"/"doable" as it wasn't back then.
Why?
Well go back to 1948....when land was taken from the Palestinians...by others in the world and given to Israel.
How's that worked out? Despite Obama's track record of taking other folks stuff and giving it to whom he chooses?
This ain't gonna work any better there...than the future predicts, it will here.

The first half of what you wrote...I generally agree with. However, it ain't no solution to the problem(s).

Try this concept on for fit... Why don't we, become totally independent of Middle Eastern Oil and totally withdraw from the region.

Start producing, to include "fracking" our oil from within our country. Build Keystone to mollify the Canadians and prevent the sale of their oil to the Chinese. We have the financial resources and the oil to do this. That leaves China with their own "energy crisis" and puts them in the same postion (bent over) as we assumed for the last 60 years. Then leave the entire middle east to China...to deal with and protect their energy source. :D Winner winner chicken dinner, not only for Obama, but for our country as a whole.

8-)
Most of what you requested, I presented earlier in this thread above in bold.
It's to late to go back to Iraq and unfuck what Obama deliberately screwed up.
Though you'll find this offensive....It's what it is...Obama's shit shame stain and it ain't worth anymore American lives to save his perceived honor/legacy. Other'n my offensive words..you prolly can agree with that.
There should be no agreement of any type with Iran. None. Obama's successful history with "joint ventures", started and ended in the choom room...decades ago. What I said about keystone and Canada...it's the truth and while R_D won't admit it..publicly? It'd be a feather in Canada's bum...if it were done. It needs doing. Think of it as a NAFTA thingy... ;)

Many say that about ATM...the Aggies.
Further a regional poll ain't a national poll.....then, you knew that....or should'a....
