.....yes, there still is white privilege. And, every time a mass shooting occurs, we can see it right before our eyes. Is the shooter 'mentally ill' or just a 'thug' or 'terrorist'? Easy, just look at the color of his skin.

Re: very valid point
How is this "white privilege"? I agree with the mentally ill point but white privilege, extreme prejudice more like it.
How would you deal with the guns in America?

Now we have demonstrable evidence that if you try to lead from behind, eventually the guys up front will stop looking back for instructions.

Re: very valid point
two separate questions--it is white privilege if we treat white assholes shooting people with guns on a different level than people of color. I read of one person this morning suggesting that, if convicted(or really, the way it works you don't really have to wait) this kid should go directly to Guantanamo, because his aim was pure terrorism(he wanted to trigger a race-war).
What would I do about the gun issue? Three basic items, none of which to me seem at all unreasonable. 1)mandatory registration of every weapon in private possession 2) mandatory recordkeeping and background check of every transfer or sale, with a waiting period at least as long as it takes to completely finish a thorough background check and 3)criminal penalties for anyone who fails to secure a weapon, at home or outside it or fails to report a theft. Now, I know a lot of folks wish to see far more sweeping and draconian laws, and, from what I'm reading and have been, the momentum is building for that. What I'd love to see is for responsible gun owners to press their public spokesmen(ie the NRA) to stop making bizarre statements about the need for more guns after every tragedy, and stop blocking both enforcement of current laws and promotion of common sense new measures.

He would ban all privately owned firearms except those whom are card carrying Democrats.
This action would of course trigger a rather nasty civil war.
Oh yes, I see "White Privilege" in your quote.
Commieshit is an EXTREME racist, a real pig. He promotes racial hatred and division to further his Utopian agenda.

I'm sure Slappy has something gratuitously idiotic to contribute, but luckily I don't have to see or read it. What is hilarious is that he is posting in a thread started by someone he purports to ignore.

Haven't noticed this, will check it out.callmeslick wrote:two separate questions--it is white privilege if we treat white assholes shooting people with guns on a different level than people of color.
That would tighten things up for us that follow the law but I doubt that it does much else.callmeslick wrote:What would I do about the gun issue? Re: very valid point
sometimes, DH, folks who don't wish to follow the law, would be weeded out before they get a gun in their hands.

Darkhorse, Commieshit and his master do not want to take guns from criminals.
They want to disarm honest non violent people to allow them to seize power.
Like Adolph Hitler before them they will form a Storm Troop of armed thugs
to intimidate the unarmed masses.
Sad events like this are only used as spring boards for the Fascists to promote gun control.
