Debates are usually dull and this one was just that.
I see Trump getting at big post debate boost and Bush sinking further.
There were no clear winners or losers.
Perry impressed and will get a boost in his standings.
I thought Rubio did quite well. He came across as smart and articulate. And he landed a few pretty good hits. And he didn't fall into the Trump sideshow.
I think you'll see his name moving up the board soon.
The rest of them seemed out of place, restless and unprepared. Especially Paul and Christie.
Bush made a complete fool out of himself. That was hard to watch, I actually felt sorry for him.
I felt the winners were Rubio(whose argument for youth over experience is new for the GOP, and well needed) and Kasich, who slapped down the non-compassionate wing that wishes to screw everyone over for all entitlements. Bush looked lethargic, and timid around Trump. Carson was in WAY over his head, likewise Huckabee and Walker. Paul looked panic stricken and you could smell the desperation wafting this far east. Trump won by dominating the news, but Cruz stands to pick up the angry white guy voters when Trump flames out, gets bored, or realizes that he has to spend real money(something he has FAR less of than he claims). On that last note, mark my words, he will NEVER run as an Independant unless some goofball PAC puts up the money. It costs 40 million just to get on the ballot in 50 states as an independant, plus the ad money. No way that comes out of his pocket.
