You know, the 'net is a great source of information, which is criticial to an informed populace. The downside is that the net and our media outlets are chock full of fabrications, half-truths and outright lies. Sorting through requires a bit of diligence. If you don't have the intellect for that, then folks like Beck start to sound plausible, and that's sad.

I'm not up on Glenn Beck so I went over to Youtube and spent about an hour watching some of his stuff.
He's great! Fucking hilarious! You just can't write comic gold like that! You can tell he's not reading from a prompter. He just adlibs it all. And he does it with a beautiful deadpan style like he's all serious about it. The dude has talent, a born comedian!
Kudos to Fox for finally putting something on that's funnier that The Simpsons!
Can you imagine if The Comedy Channel ran him every night after Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert! 90 minutes of TV well worth staying up for!!!!

they have threads like this one from time to time and there´s a lot of hilarious (and shocking) stuff in it. It´s hard for me to understand how this man can have so many followers as one would think that even if you don´t check the truth in what he says, at least the way he says it should put any normal person out of serious mode and into laugh mode.
