Drafting women

I say go for it if you are going to force the Military to put them in combat jobs -> (bad idea!)
Now we have demonstrable evidence that if you try to lead from behind, eventually the guys up front will stop looking back for instructions.
Government-coerced expression is a feature of dictatorships that has no place in a free country

I suppose it's kinda like being a hooker?
You want the pay..the 'prestige'..ya can't be choosy about who ya serve, when ya serve and how yer told to serve.

Old Pudfark sez: " the thought of this below...'serving' is repugnant.. "

well, DH, let's ignore the idiot fringe response above and try and give a serious answer. So long as men have to register still(not quite sure why, actually), and women are allowed full equality in the military system, I'd say you HAVE to register women.

The why is so if needed the system is in place. No matter how hard they try women will never have full equality and with all the issues I have seen with women in combat support units I can only imagine the issues in combat units.

ok, makes sense for an emergency. Thus, no reason to exclude women from the process under current rules. In fact, someone is bound to sue over exclusion given our litigeous society.

Stick to the subject, Slappy. We don't want to know what you did back on Saturday night.
