South Carolina GOP Debate Ratings Triple Hillary & Bernie Show

The most recent debate between Hillary Clinton and Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT)16%
scared up only 4.5 million viewers on MSNBC. This weekend’s fiery Republican presidential debate in South Carolina pulled in more than three times as many viewers, with 13.5 million viewers. The Democrat debate aired on a Thursday night. The Republican debate aired late (9 p.m. ET) on a Saturday night. Across various platforms outside of television, another 5 million viewed all or part of the GOP debate.

of course, people watch the GOP clown-fest for entertainment. Hell, I've watched them all, and they are great fun to watch. I keep waiting for actual fisticuffs to break out. What they are busy doing, as my rather right-leaning nephew notes, is essentially proving each other to be completely unqualified. So far, Kasich has stayed above the fray, and Carson seems to be taking his debate cues from Clarence Thomas, but the other four are utterly hilarious to watch. EITHER of the two Dems can think circles around that crowd, both come off as WAY more away of the subtleties of foreign affairs and in tune with economic realities.

Bernie's been around 30+ years....and all you can say for him is "he was a skin tag on someone else's nut sack...butt, he was in the thick of it".



Trump has been in politics for 8 months...and is leading in every poll...despite the RNC's half assed attempts to oust him....

this is even funnier...the RNC and the DNC have something in common?
They both want a brokered convention....
They both have no one to run and no where to hide...

it is such a shame that you are too stupid to understand, but the job of being a legislator is to PASS legislation in the public interest, and Bernie has done more of that than anyone.

Trump has been in politics for 8 months...and is leading in every poll...despite the RNC's half assed attempts to oust him....

he's leading polls of a minority party in complete disarray and can't approach 50 percent of THEM. That really isn't much of an accomplishment, Pud.

I don't get the sense that anyone in the DNC has the least interest in a brokered convention. Watch, they'll unite quite nicely by the fall, that's what they always do. They are smart enough to realize that the one time they didn't(1980), they lost.
