Directly cut from Pud's post on the other sub-forum, this is his method for calculating unemployment in the US:
"The total U.S. population age 16 and over is at least 243 million. Subtracting the nearly 156 million Americans in the labor force in June 2013 -- that is, those who were either working or looking for work -- leaves 87 million Americans, which is close to 90 million."

That's from three years ago....how many jobs were created last month?....that you've yet to mention?

"
so, he is counting everyone in the population over the age of 16 not in the labor force:
1. The labor force does not include retirees, so if you're old, you're unemployed in PudLand.
2. The labor force does not include active duty military, so, you're unemployed, soldier!
3. The labor force does not include students, so Johnny, a junior in high school and Suzie, in graduate school for physics, are unemployed.
4. The labor force does not include severely disabled or mentally infirm people, so that quadraplegic fellow down the street is just another
unemployed person by Pud's math. Likewise, Slappy, being mentally non-existent.
so, Pud can dance around what he wrote, bouncing between 87 and 97 million unemployed folks in his blather and bluster about the economy which Obama's team saved, to a great extent. He can dance, but there's the math, above, for all to see.
