Obama's Flood
Obama's Flood
Dang, the idiots went as far as to
claim Bush caused that fucking hurricane (Katrina)!
Obama has fallen face first in his mashed potatoes
on this one and the media is giving him a free pass.

Re: Obama's Flood
today's talking point from the Trump camp, who dispatched Pence and the Baboon to a drive-through photo op. Note, from MY link, the Governor doesn't wish such visits, and says the feds are doing a GREAT JOB. As, do the local officials.

Re: Obama's Flood
a short followup to Slappy's drooling idiocy, above:
I have two serious issues here:
The first is that the issues with GWB were in both slowness and clumsiness of response. The optics of being there were secondary, a point seeming lost on the only newspaper that whined about Obama(a right wing rag in a backwater community). Everyone involved now says everything is in place and coming through to help them once the initial flooding subsides. God hope they don't see another 24 inches of rain anytime soon.
The second issue is that this whole event is a PERFECT example of climate change in action. Louisiana is sinking under rising waters. The same scenario that Republicans have spent 15 years denying, preventing study of, and blocking funds to address. The reek of political football is strong on this one.

Re: Obama's Flood

this is a photo from a western forest fire, but the same Irony applies to any Republican supporter whining about flooding.
Re: Obama's Flood

Trump and Hannity both made it there and both wrote big checks to fund relief efforts ....long before Obozo and 'No Show, No Care, Hillary'.
Speaking of which...what have ya heard about the 'Clinton Foundation' and their donation to the disaster?

Re: Obama's Flood
Big Checks? Hell, I sent one 1/4 the size of Trumps, not to a Church, either, but to the Red Cross. Now, I never claim to be worth a few billion, but damn, couldn't he come up with more than 100g?
