Assuming she doesn't die at some point over the next few weeks ... Elizabeth II will be the Queen of England over the span of 12 different American presidencies.

the woman is amazing. As a non-British citizen, or commonwealth citizen or whateverthefeck you folks in Canada and all call yourselves, I have no real rooting interest in terms of politics, but she is a treasure connecting the Western World to WWII. Also, one of the keenest horsewomen I've ever heard of. Never met her, but have heard stories from friends in the horse business about her which are amazing.
