Can't wait for the reply from camp Trump. Assuming there is one. I have my doubts.CNN's decision to publish carefully sourced reporting about the operations of our government is vastly different than Buzzfeed's decision to publish unsubstantiated memos. The Trump team knows this. They are using Buzzfeed's decision to deflect from CNN's reporting, which has been matched by the other major news organizations.
We are fully confident in our reporting. It represents the core of what the First Amendment protects, informing the people of the inner workings of their government; in this case, briefing materials prepared for President Obama and President-elect Trump last week.
We made it clear that we were not publishing any of the details of the 35-page document because we have not corroborated the report's allegations. Given that members of the Trump transition team have so vocally criticized our reporting, we encourage them to identify, specifically, what they believe to be inaccurate.
CNN takes the high ground.

Re: CNN takes the high ground.

this shit has passed odd, and amusing a long time and has now moved into fascist disinformation campaigns. Don't think it is going to work, because I think an old pal of mine was right when he wrote, elsewhere, that Trump is probably NOW being blackmailed by BOTH the Russians and the Intelligence infrastructure in the US.

no, Pud, you may in fact be days away from losing your Orange Mouthpiece, at this rate. Under the best outcome for him, he enters office badly wounded, held hostage to the CIA, FBI and Russians, with the Senate Republicans in save-my-ass mode working like hell to send him packing. No fan of Pence, but with no doubts of his patriotism and adulthood.
