Now, the abomination referred to, above, just largely got put on indefinite hold by the Federal Courts. Two more broad ranging petitions of the courts are pending, I've heard. Which, I have been reminding folks in a meeting when this news broke, reminds us all that the Federal Courts, and the lifetime tenure, independence and general decency(no matter which party or President appointed them) of the judiciary is likely going to be the last, best line to hold back absolute batshit craziness. They will,I hope, show the valid purpose behind this little tripartite(look the word up, Pud) experiment the Founders turned us loose with. The Congress will follow the lead, but it will take the Courts first, as the Congressional majority is still in search of some backbone and seems to have misplaced its principles and honor, too.
