1. These assclowns never had the semblance of a plan, ever.
2. They haven't even the balls to put out an IDEA for a plan, for fear of the public realizing it is WORSE than the ACA.

yeah, because I was involved. We held numerous, productive meetings with several members of the GOP caucus, for months. Then they went back to their leadership and were told to get in line behind fighting against everything.

the meetings were held in DC and in about 6 other locations. They were pretty well documented. I was a representative because I was in the healthcare business my whole career, and because I was involved with the campaign. I tossed the comments out at the time around some of the meetings, and the meetings with Biden involved that resulted in getting Specter and a couple others to vote for the final package(you know, those Republicans who all voted a certain way?). They pulled in about 10 GOP House members from around the nation, the entire membership of the Senate subcommittee that dealt with such matters, about 10 insurance reps, a few dozen doctors, reps from every ancillary service and support industry. That's how you create legislation.....build consensus. The whacked part was how the GOP folks were VERY positive in the meetings, until they were forced to vote on proposals THEY HELPED FORMULATE.
