on the Budget extension. No wall funding, in fact strict restrictions. No defunding Planned Parenthood, or Sanctuary Cities. No cuts to research, actually some medical research increases that had been legislated were kept intact. One can look through the list and traditional Tea Party ideals got kicked to the curb. Now, either the Orange Cheetolini isn't all that good at negotiations, or he is more interested in keeping the public happy than in ideological purity. Toss in his suggestion that it is time to raise gas taxes to put into highway and bridge infrastructure(and indirectly pushing the public to low emission vehicles), and have a modern day Glass-Steagall bill to separate bank, broker and insurance businesses, and damned if the Badhair Buffoon doesn't sound like Elizabeth Warren.
