No reason to thank you for something you were not very likely to be a part of.

I would go so far as to say you probably wouldn't even have approved it if you even had a choice about it. I see you as the kind of repube who'd gladly do business with the nazis, like Prescott Bush.

Nic

PS, I'll eat my hat and apologize if you actually fought WWII    funny idea

BTW my freedom was just an idea of a concept 66 years ago, and my granddad was fighting for it in Africa along some of your countrymen. They were probably americans of a different caliber than yourself though, as I don't think that someone who was actually there would have to ask to be thanked on an internet forum 66 years later, or anytime they met a frenchman.

the worst thing about idiocy is being too stupid to know when they've long since proven they are indeed an idiot, and keep expressing and displaying examples to reinforce it, as above....

maybe Pud and Sgt Slaughter should comment on how Mongolia needs to be brought to justice, they have gotten off scot-free the last 800 years or so

lots of other old case files throughout history for you guys to tackle....and BTW, don't be too sore about 1812, y'know, the only time USA was defeated on its own, mainland soil, including burning your capital.....
