Resdouche was (partially) correct

Post by ruggbutt »

I found the info that Douche was spouting about AZ economy in the shitter after the law being passed. What's happening is that hotels are taking a hit cuz of cancellations. The hotel industry is a part of our economy but there are far larger things that impact AZ rather than tourism. By getting rid of the illegals we free up jobs for Americans, crime goes down and social services and the monies spent go down as well. AZ wins overall.

As for the hotels, serves them right for hiring illegals in the first place. Karma is a bitch.

Daii, you missed a post from last year that Res posted from the L.A. Times. L.A. at the time was about equal with Phoenix regarding illegals and how they were handled. Anyhow, IIRC the report said that only 9% of illegals were doing jobs Americans wouldn't do. The rest were in service industries and construction. I used to have the link saved but no longer do. The point is that the argument that they do jobs Americans won't is bullshit.

As an aside I went to an In and Out Burger joint yesterday. I don't often eat fast food but I was wonderfully surprised that no illegals were working there and no spanish was being spoken behind the counter. I'll be going there for my junk food cravings instead of McDonald's or Jack in the Box from here on out.

I stopped by a Wendy's last week and everybody working there were American teenagers, I felt like I was back up north, it was great!!
Now we have demonstrable evidence that if you try to lead from behind, eventually the guys up front will stop looking back for instructions.
