Saw this on gaybay. The seller has no fucking clue. I got rid of all my 44 WCF's a long time ago. Looks like a decent tong tool and the price is right if you're into that shit.

Correct me if I am wrong but surely that is a mould for making bullets.bearkiller wrote:I can afford to buy bullets, but thanks for the thought.

All you need to do is to go back to the tyre shop you worked in and ask for the lead that they took off while balancing tyres?

Re: Hey Bearkiller Buzz
Nope, not a mold.
They made some of those with molds, but that just a reloading tool. It de-primes, re-primes, re-sizes, and seats and crimps a bullet into the case. One operation at a time. They're slow compared to re-loaders of today, but were easy to carry in a saddle bag or back pack. All you needed to carry beside that was some bullets, primers, and powder as you re-used your brass.
That one is missing the de-priming pin, but those are easy to make.
They were known "tong" tools and were made in just about every caliber available "back in the day".
Here's a link to one with a built in bullet mold.
