I love how Slick finds a way to negatively comment on someone's intelligence because of where they live (or come from). Regardless of what you think Slick, several Presidents came from Texas. They were the most powerful and influential men on earth and in the whole scheme of things more accomplished than you are or ever will be. Even G.W. graduated from Yale, which I suspect is a much more prestigious school than you've attended.
So go ahead and point fingers. Cuz even the president who say is the dumbest one we've ever had has a better track record in life than you have.
and here is a Great American

Re: and here is a Great American
US presidents need not be, and often are not, superlatively intelligent
a politicians skill is finding and surrounding himself with those that ARE intelligent....and delegating responsibility, etc..a good politician (read:sucessful) can be a shit-for-brains, doesnt matter, its his skills in management of people that count
besides, attending an Ivy-league school proves only that you had money or someone who loves you did, nothing more. funny, Rugg, how you blast Slick for commenting on someone intelect based on where they are or came from...you did the same by citing Bush attending Yale; Bush is from this place [Yale], so he must be smart, right?

He got into Yale. Which is much harder than other colleges. There is a degree of intelligence involved. As for doing what Slick did, I'm glad the irony wasn't lost on you. If he's going to judge people with a certain standard he should expect to be judged by the same standard.Daiichidoku wrote:Bush is from this place [Yale], so he must be smart, right?

Daii, you sound like presidential material....and your perception of political skill mirrors that of Obama.Daiichidoku wrote:US presidents need not be, and often are not, superlatively intelligent

Old Pudfark sez: " Vote fer the stupid ones...ya might get lucky....and have a fan boy like Daii, tell'em what to do "

Lyndon Johnson, to my knowledge is the ONLY Texan to become President. The Bushes were both New Englanders, when you get right down to it. Beyond that, I think most folks with a functioning brain knew I was merely busting stones. Yours, based on most of your recent posts has at least temporarily shut down. I figure it's the heat.ruggbutt wrote:I love how Slick finds a way to negatively comment on someone's intelligence because of where they live (or come from). daii, if you're talking about Pudfark here, you misspelled the word ignorant. I highlighted for you.
