More proof that the best warriors tend th be the mal-contents screw-ups and missfits.
A good example of that came 27 years later with Capt Jay Zeamer USAAF and his
crew of screw-ups and their unwanted bomber.

Staff Sergeant Maynard Harrison Smith is another excellent example of a great warrior
and looser mix.

He won the medal of honor, but was on KP duty for screwing up and had to be quickly
dressed up to recieve the award.......

Some people just don't perform untill they see a mission to accomplish.
Then some, like a Jay Zeamer or a Harry Smith rise to the occasion.
