When life began there were no swamps.
You need life to have a swamp.
It's like the Genesis creation myth.
Problem there is there was no day for creation to begin on.
You need an Earth orbiting a star (the sun) rotating
at 1 revolution per "day" (24 hours) to have a day to start on.![]()
And the fact that our Earth took at least half a billion years
to form from that disc of material orbiting the young Sun makes any
"day one" explanation seem a tad simple.

slick, who's an agnostic, but worries whenever someone holds their belief to be superior to the belief of another. Seems like they are pretty much equivalent to me.....
